Unit Leaders/ Teacher Advisers.

1. Please kindly reply us before 16th of January about your unit's participation.

2. The mode of payment will be cash and you will only have to make the payments on the day itself.

3. Due to the lack of Saturdays, Methodist Girls' School will hold the annual event “Merentas Desa” on the 25^th of February from 7.00 a.m. to 8.30 a.m. Thus, kindly supervise your unit’s discipline throughout the event. You may prepare for your competitions right after we allocate your unit in a classroom. 

4. Certain amendments will be made to adjust to the event, “Merentas Desa” and it will be announced once the board of committees has decided the final solution. We assure you that we will try to stick to the agenda previously and we will inform you right away our decisions.

5. The competitions will be carried out as usual. Please browse through this blog from time to time for the recent information.

6. Please do proceed to the registration counter if you are not sure about our gathering during the earlier part of the day. [Registration time, competition duration and etc.]

7. We will try to request for the main committees to stay in the school compound during “Merentas Desa” so that your inquiries can be answered as precise as possible.

8. Please try not to reduce the number of your unit’s participation to avoid food wastage.

9. Please ensure that your members are not involving in disgrace matters and try to uphold the pride of Scouts, Guides and Rangers throughout the day especially during the earlier part of the day.

10.  Please notify us beforehand if your participation is without the supervision of a teacher adviser or that your unit’s senior will be accompanying your participation. Your seniors should be in proper attires and his/her hair is not dyed. Please request your seniors to wear your unit’s t-shirt for straightforward identification.

11. Please try to control your members and do not allow them to wander around the school compound especially during 7 a.m. - 8.30a.m without valid reasons.

12. Individuals whom are not in Scouts, Guides or Rangers are strictly forbidden to join the event. Please try to ensure that the members are part of the scouting and guiding family. Please remind your members that they have to be in full uniform during the later part of the day. [During highlights.]
