Some guidelines..

So, 1st thing first.

Registration will be held at the 3 Heron.(the first classroom right opposite MGSS main gate)
Unit leaders or representatives please gather your unit at the small field next to the main gate while you peeps proceed to the registration. Then, you will be allocated to a classroom. Read the rules and regulations enclosed in the booklet for more info regarding this matter.
Later on, we will proceed with the comps.

Unit leaders/Representatives : You may register for Mini Gadget and Modern Cooking competitions when you are registering the number of participants early in the morning since the two competitions will be the ones starting early. Please inform your teacher advisers that they will have to fill in a form upon driving in their car into our school compound(this is for safety reasons and purposes). Please go through the rules and regulations with your members before attending our event. That will be a great help! roll And inform the Muslim members that we will be giving a list /unit regarding the (Waktu bersolat) and the venue for this activity.

Mod cooking comp starts at 7.45am and ends at 10.15am.

If any of the seniors are participating by joining their ex school, please dress appropriately(Preferably your unit's t-shirt and long pants/jeans) AND of course, "Guides, Rangers and Scouts with dyed hair and indecent clothing are not allowed to enter the school compound." I'm really sorry but this is extremely important!

Please take note that the first aid counter will be at the registration counter.

You are not allowed to step out of the school compound once you have enter our school right until dismissal (6.30 pm) unless your unit is departing earlier. You may purchase food, snacks and drinks from our food stall at the canteen (before 12 noon) and at the Kenyon Terrace-next to our Gathering Trinity Hall(from 12 noon onwards)

Riddle hunt will start precisely at 10AM and ends at ELEVEN THIRTY AM! So conserve your energy,hunt 'em down, answer the questions,get the signatures and run for your life to the registration counter to submit the finished masterpiece of yours. roll

During gathering,there will be NO OPEN DANCE FLOOR! i repeat, there will be NO open dance floor. I'm sorry guys but yea, rules are rules. roll

By the way, you will be given a wrist band(something like starwalk that kind) upon registration and please wear it throughout the event for the convenient of the host. Thanx a lot!

And tell your parents that we are giving you peep out there with dinner. So ACTUALLY i think you'll be quite full when you reach home roll

That's about it! i know I'm being quite long-winded eh! But this is just to give you guys some faint ideas on what will we be doing on that day. So yea!

The date has been confirmed!

Please take note that THE DATE of Gathering 2012 - Impede Racism, Flourish Love organized by 12th Unit Rangers will be postponed to 17th of March 2012.

THIS IS FREAKING IMPORTANT!!! READ IT!!!

Company leaders or representatives please take note that 25/2/12 IS a school replacement day!
In other words, MGS Gathering will most likely be postpone to the next day, which is 26th of Feb (Sun).
For now, it will be this date. We are still waiting confirmation from JPN! Any changes we will let you guys know a.s.a.p!

P.S: Please inform me a.s.a.p whether your unit can still make it on Sun or not.!! Drop a comment at facebook or message me via my phone number(PUI KEI).

Mini Gadget Competition!

We strongly encourage your unit to participate in the Mini Gadget Competition. For your information, currently there is not a single school joining this competition. So, if you are the only school, then you will be awarded the trophy and the marks!

Rough ideas on the event!



Kenyon Cottage
Upon arriving at Methodist Girls' School's main gate, you will be directed to the registration counter located at the Kenyon Terrace whereby the Unit Leader or representatives will register the number of participants.

 Then , each school will be allocated to the respective classrooms ranging from the ground floor to the first floor.

Please follow the agenda for the registration time for respective competitions. Please take note that modern cooking competition will starts first and it will be scheduled at 7.45pm. You may register for this competition along with the participants registration. This competition will be held at the badminton court.

During the lunch break, food and drinks will be sold at the school canteen with a reasonable price. After that, we will proceed with the Gathering which will be held at the Trinity Hall (next to Kenyon Terrace).

During dinner, participants will be provided with a packet of rice and a bottle of mineral water. Later on, we will proceed with the prize giving ceremony which will include the announcement of the Overall Champion for MGS Gathering, "Impede Racism, Flourish Love" 2012 in conjunction with the 91th years of Guiding in School!
